Here's Leo, he's three months old.

Today is going to be better, yesterday I was just feeling sorry for myself. I have a lot of things to be grateful for, I'm in the Graduate Program I wanted to be in, I have good friends, and I have a supportive family. Just because I have a broken heart and face poverty doesn't mean I have to curl up into a ball and let everything else go to hell.

Today I am going to go to Silver Platters and buy something for my mother with her gift certificate that she received from my dad for Christmas. They've been divorced for over 30 years and they still give each other gifts. Who knew....

The other night my sister, brother in law and two nephews came over for dinner (pot roast.. yum!). They are pretty cute, it makes me almost want to have children, but as my doctor said in January, I'm not getting any younger... basically my eggs are shrivelling up. Oh well, what's a girl to do? Adopt!

I realize it's been a few days since I posted. That's because I have a short attention span and I'm depressed. That's it for now. Maybe I'll feel better tomorrow.

Oh, I forgot, the Seahawks won! I kind of hope the Bears lose today!!

Here is my eyebrow before waxing... what was I thinking? I am having a bit of a problem downloading my new eyebrow photos to my iphoto... maybe because it's Christmas morning and I'm having a divine intervention... I'll try again later.

Today I am going to church (University Christian Church, Seattle), coming back home and laying on the sofa. Later we are going to my sisters house for tamales enchiladas and other assorted Christmas fare.

Maybe I'll get some good presents this year.. I bet I'll get alot of gift cards so I can buy things in Chicago...

I have my eyebrows back!

I had my brows waxed last night and I must say that I can't believe that this is one of the things I gave up when I got into grad school. I may have to find a job so I can keep up the habit!

I will upload a picture soon once I take a shower and I am looking pretty (well at least my eyebrows are pretty).

Today I am going to visit my sister and my nephew Leo. Leo is three months old and very cute. I also have to finish up my crocheting and wrap my gifts...

I always seem to get blue around this time of year (as do a lot of people). It's mostly because I am single and it seems that everything this time of year is geared around family and loved ones. Screw that! I should be grateful though, I did fall in love this year and had my heart broken but that's another story for another time. At least I have my dog Tucker.

Okay, it's off to the shower for me!

This is my dog Tucker, she's four. She thinks she is really cute, I think so too!

Today I am working at the church for cash money! woo hoo, I can sure use it. I am also getting my eyebrows waxed! I'm psyched because it's beginning to look like I have two catepillars over my eyes. I'll let you know how it goes.

How I love the rain and 50 degrees!

Here I am in sweet home Seattle, after spending most of yesterday on the sofa with Tucker I decided I should get out today and finish up some Christmas shopping. I also did a pilates workout.. there's something to be said about having a vcr and floorspace to do a workout.

Well I better get out of this bathrobe and curl my hair (that's another thing I don't have in Chicago.).

I will post more later.

So I'm now trying to get things packed... I am not really looking forward to getting up at 4am. I ran into Simon and he apologized for not going to the movie. I forgive him. It's not like were a couple so that's alright... he doesn't need to explain anything to me.

I guess that's it for now. Have a good evening.

The Gaudi movie was excellent. After the movie I went around taking photos of downtown Chicago, nothing says Christmas like a photo of where your child goes to school.
My flight home to Seattle leaves tomorrow at 8:15 am I have to catch a bus at 5:11am in order to get to O'hare at 6:15. blahhh, I can sleep on the plane. Hopefully they will have oversold my flight and I can get bumped for free tickets. Everyone cross their fingers for me.

The bright point of all of this is that I get to see my dog Tucker, she's a wiener dog. I will post pictures of her when I get home. and I can steal the wifi connection from the next door neighbor. Uploading pictures will be quicker.

See you from Seattle (or Chicago) if I think of something else interesting to write.

Oh, the Seahawks won. yay!

I am going to see the Antonio Gaudi documentary at the Film Center. I was supposed to go with my friend Simon but I haven't heard from him. Oh well, I guess I'll just go it alone.

I am watching the Seattle Seahawks lose to the Tennesee Titans (???). I won't be able to face my friends if they lose. Thank you Jesus there was just a 66 yard run... whew. We're still losing though, hopefully by the time I get home they will have won.

I'll let you all know how the film was.

that I am not 25 years old anymore. I went to a party last night and didn't get home until after 3am. I think when I was 25 I didn't even stay out that late. However, I still got up at 6:40 am to go to my weight watchers meeting. I was up 3 pounds... I think it's because of the donut and cookies.

I've been thinking about going to a movie but I don't really feel like spending $9.50. Maybe I'l suck it up and fork it over.

Tomorrow I'm going to the Antonio Gaudi documentary and the Gene Siskel film center.

I am beginning to realize that I'm really not that interesting....

Okay, so Donald picked Randall (whom I approve of), but when the trumpster asked Randall weather he should hire Rebecca as well I was shocked when Randall said no. I lost all respect for him.

Well, today I am thinking about going into the studio but I'm not convinced.... I have a party to go to tonight, and a few openings. I can't really get into the openings on Friday nights... I suppose I should get into them if I'm going to be an artist.

I'm heading home on Tuesday for three and a half weeks. I'm looking forward to rain in Seattle, and driving my car!

I guess that's it for now.

Okay, so I'm done with classes for the semester and now I am going to be crocheting potholders for my entire family for christsmas. That's what happens when you are poor... you are forced to make hand made gifts for everyone. Not that there's anything wrong with that. It economical, and I like to crochet. The only problem I have is that I have a short attention span and I have four projects I'm working on simultaneously...

Well, I better go back to crocheting. Tonight is the season finale of The Apprentice. I'm rooting for Rebecca (or Randall) I can't decide...

Oh, some guy was checking me out this afternoon at Walgreen's.... Ha ha ha eat your heart out mr. what's-his-*ucker!!!

this is a picture of the shrine I made to Michael the Cute Boy from Church.... he's married now to a woman with horse teeth... sort of a cross between Nancy Kerrigan and Mr. Ed.
Grad school is sooooo fun. We are looking at babies now.... everyone has a blog... now I do as well. Marty thinks my blog is going to rock.
Marty and I are sitting in class listening to a lecture on blogging so I thought I should post something. Marty is in a book. I'm not.
