Let's see what we've got this morning.

As Whitney Houston would have said.

I have nothing.

Actually I do have something to say although it's not that exciting...

I finished the second book of the Hunger Games trilogy last night.. that means I have to go buy the last one today.  The last time I read this much was probably back in the 80's...  I usually write off my not reading to the learning disability card, but I can read if I'm interested in the story.

Today is payday.  I will pay my bills and then I will be poor again.  Damn student loans.

Yesterday I started having pangs about Chicago....  sometimes I think it might be nice to live there with a bigger group of art friends and more art opportunities.... but Seattle is home (even if the art scene is fluffy)...

I sense dissatisfaction creeping over me...  please stop.

Ah, it's not that bad...

I should go now that I have brought you all down (at least I didn't start talking about my Dad - that would really depress you...)...

Hello

It's Tuesday....

Today is the first day I don't have anything to do... well, except work.  That I am looking forward to..

Another thing I am looking forward to is the movie the Hunger Games... I've been reading the books and I am really psyched about the movie... I saw the commercial for it during the Grammys and now I just can't stop reading.

Lenny Kravitz is in the movie too... so that's exciting!  I love Lenny...

Today I plan on eating more vegetables...  last night for dinner I just ate cookies and nachos.  I need to get back to a healthier way of eating or I'm going to be sorry (and seriously backed up)....

Okay, that's too much information.... I know.   Like me telling you that Mr. Clunky and his Girlfriend got a little amorous last night and I found it hard to sleep well afterwards (at least without earplugs)...  good thing she's not a screamer...

I think that's it for now.  More coffee is needed for me to even think about getting moving this morning.

Not much to say.

Back on the sofa.

Back with my french press.  (yay).

No paper came yesterday - boo.

Went to bed at 9pm.  yep.

I had a good time on my trip, but it reinforced the fact that I am in fact a loner.  I like spending time with people, but I don't think I could really live with anyone.

Today it is back to work and the gym.  I hope I don't fall apart...

Last night I got home, went to the grocery store, then I came home, took a bath and then watched the Oscars.

I've been reading the Hunger Games trilogy - I'm on the second book (for those of you who don't know I'm not much of a reader)...  it's good, but reading it stresses me out some.  I tried to read it when I went to bed but I had to stop... Oh well... I'll read more later.

I am having difficulties focusing so I think I will go...

more coffee needed.

Home again, home again...

I made it back!  I am finally overcoming a headache I've had for the past few days (it's still there but not as bad)...

I started out in Sundland, CA this morning at 5:45 am and got to my doorstep at 3pm...  the only casualty was my suitcase which has a large gash in the back (it's a hard sided Sampsonite)..

I will do a better post tomorrow morning..  here are photos I took yesterday during my travels and on my way to LACMA.

Saturday sleep in..

I slept in until 7:30 this morning (and stayed in bed until 8:00)....  nice.

I think the plan today is to go to a museum and hang out...

I think the conference was a bit of bust... but it's in New York next year so I can plan ahead...

Here are some photos I took yesterday... not too exciting.

The Smell of Chopped LIver and Onions

The smell of Corey's leftover sandwich is a little too much for me this morning but I will survive.  We survived our first day of the conference...  Compared to past years this conference seems a little lame... but maybe it's just me.

I've run into a few people I know so that's nice.  Last night we went to a reception for the Vermont Studio Center and met a lot of nice people...  I actually met someone who lives in Mineral Point Wisconsin - I've been there... that was an it's a small world experience.

Today we are sitting at the VSC table and I will probably go to another panel discussion... back to my comment on the lameness....   tonight I have an SAIC reception to go to...  tomorrow I think we will probably hit museums and gallery openings.

I took some photos yesterday of Corey's House (at least the outside)...  here they are.
