My mood has turned today... I don't really want to work, I don't want to go out... I can't blame it on PMS... maybe I should just take a nap.

Maybe it's the post Martha letdown. She was on the Today show this morning. Almost as stoic as yesterday...

I've put the Go Go's on iTunes... maybe that will help. Maybe I'll gather enough energy to get out and about.... I did manage to go swimming... it was fine - except I have some excess back skin that is not always attractive... but I can live with it.

I should update I heart Ann before it's too late.

Another Monday is here...

I'm up ready to go (almost)... yesterday I went swimming. It reminded me of when I was a kid and used to swim all the time... It's exercise that isn't a chore... (except putting on the bathing suit - but nobody cares what I look like..).

I talked to my father twice this weekend and he seems to be doing pretty well. He's still in the hospital though...

Well, I better get off to "stalking" I might meet Barry Manilow this morning.

Room to move...

Well, I finally have a place to nest... Maria left this morning and should be on her way to Peru.

The first thing I did was clean a bit. Somehow the smell of Pine-sol does something for me... I know my mother will have a heart attack when she reads this but I actually know how to clean things. I went through and wiped down the wood floors in my new room and living room.. there was about a months worth of sand on the floors... (Maria likes to go to the beach.. who can blame her, she's cute!).

Today's agenda is as follows. I have to go to the studio and make my sign for Today Tomorrow (that sounds funny). Then I was thinking I'd go to Target and see if I can find a cheap bathing suit for swimming (IE clearance priced). Then I think I might actually go swimming...

Tonight the Emmy's are on. Since television is one of my favorite things this should be one of my favorite nights... it will be nice to see what people are wearing. Maybe Stacy London will be there (actually I know she will be, I saw it on Access Hollywood)!

Okay, I feel the need to get out and move. Yay!

Don't ask me what I'm doing up right now...

I don't know myself. After a good four hours sleep I find myself up... maybe it's because Maria is leaving this morning and I am a nervous nellie and don't want her to miss her plane. Yesterday I helped her vote on different outfits to take to Peru and Bolivia..

Considering I am fasionally challenged I don't know what sort of help I was.

Thanks to Jefferson I have a good recipe for Pesto and I made some last night. It was yummy.

Over all I think yesterday was one of my best yet in New York. I went to my ww meeting and got a bunch of good ideas. I found out about the New York city recreation centers. There are a bunch around town that you can join for cheap... they have gyms, pools aerobic classes etc... I went down to my local one (about a 15 minute walk) and signed myself up. Otto helped me... he was very friendly and they even gave me a swim cap that I can use when I go swimming later on (yes, I'm going to put on a bathing suit).

Later on in the afternoon I went to K-mart... it's conveniently located on the 6 which runs near my apartment. I bought two pillows and a new towell... I don't know if I can afford all these expenditures.. hopefully the job thing will come through soon. If not I guess I'll have to start looking in earnest for something.

Maybe Martha Stewart will ask me to work for her.

Well, I think my eyelids are getting heavy again so I will try to catch a few more zzz's.
