I miss the old days.

I miss the old days when my blog used to be a rant.  I don't seem to be as cranky as I used to be - nor as funny.... ah - funny.  What happened to me?

The blog just seems to be a laundry list of what I'm going to do, what body part hurts, what I ate... maybe I should focus on being a ranter...

maybe the ranting doesn't suit me anymore.

Well, It's Friday - no great plans this week with the exception of helping a friend of mine with her resume.  oh, and all that teaching... 

Here's the latest news - Charlie Sheen is in the hospital, Oscar nominations were announced, I am going to eat a bagel this morning.

Here - this is what I can do... I am going to show you the business cards I ordered... I used MOO.COM to order and you can have a selection of images on the front with the same information on the back... so here they are.

There  you go - I threw in an image of me behind Natalie Portman because she seems to be the "it girl" of the moment...

I think the cards will be great for New York...  I can hand them out when I go back to the Today Show.  I am pretty excited about that... hopefully all the guys who were working there in 2007 are still there.  It will be fun.

Okay, I think I need to get back to my coffee and my mental preparations for the day.

Fashion Recap

Last night I watched the Golden Globes and here's what I have to say about the fashions.

Eva Longoria Parker - yes

Rene Zellweger - no (reminded me of a costume from Little House on the Prairie).

I would post pictures but they'll probably be all over the papers today.

Tomorrow is the day I am looking forward to - RCT Day! (Root Canal Therapy Day).

The tooth is going to drive me crazy. I think about the amount of ibuprofen coursing through my body and it's mind boggling. Another perk about tomorrow is that I get to sleep in until 6 or 6:30 - yee haw!

BTW - (by the way for you readers who are not in the loop)... Yesterday when I was at the Mall I got very very hungry... I kept looking around trying to find something to eat and couldn't find anything that was good for me. I decided to try the banana nut bar sample I got at ww the other day - BIG MISTAKE! It is the nastiest thing I have eaten in a long time. STAY AWAY FROM THESE HORRENDOUS MORSELS OF ARTIFICIAL BANANA NASTINESS!

My second stomach says hello.

Last night my second stomach made an appearance at dinner. We went to Black Angus and I ate far too much. I had some appetizers, salad, steak, mashed potatoes, a few veggies and then half of my momma's birthday brownie sundae.

Just roll me out the door please. I didn't finish it all because I started getting a pain in my side. I guess that's a bad sign.

Today I am going out to lunch as a welcome to my new job (although I've been doing it for seven weeks)... we're going to Wild Ginger. Hopefully there will be some healthy options and then I can hit the gym tonight.

The knee is a bit stiff but it doesn't hurt like it did.

Oh, I officially signed up for my website HERE it is... I'm still working on getting things put together but it will do for now.

Last night I had a dream that I was going to be testifying in a legal case... it seems that Rene Zellweger was not happy with my photo of her from I heart Ann. It was a bit sketchy in my dream but I knew for some reason I was in trouble.
