Recharge!

I have made it to another sunday and I am thankful. It seems like I have too much to do and too little time lately.

I'm thinking I should start (continue?) working on my taxes. I'm thinking I may have to pay this year because I didn't make a ton and I didn't have the most taken out... I think I do qualify as a business though... We'll see how it goes.

This afternoon I am delivering the goods to my dad (Milky Way Dark miniatures) and helping him with some organizational things. (that means going through junk)...

I'm currently at Third Place Books using their free wifi so I can update all my iTunes etc...

It's a beautiful morning in downtown Lake City!

I'm lying. It's dark, it's cold, it's Lake City!

Okay, it's not that bad.

Last night I went to the open studio of my friend Tia and bought some earrings and commissioned a new necklace. I kid you not, her work is a hot commodity.

I convinced her to come to my house for dinner tonight... she gets to meet Stinky! and the rest of my family.

After my ww meeting today I am going to go to Cycling class and try to work up a sweat and slim those thighs down.

I'm feeling a bit icky... partially because I have a crick in my neck but also because I had beer both Thursday and Friday nights. I don't think my body is used to it. I need a nice benefactor/massage therapist boyfriend to work out all the knots...

I must be on drugs...

Have you ever had one of those days when you think you've got everything figured out and then realize you don't?

I been thinking that the show at Crawl Space ended this weekend but I was wrong... which is good news for all of you. I am just losing my mind that's all...

It sucks getting old.

In a perfect world I would have thin thighs, beer would have no calories and I would have someone to hold my hair back while I barfed... Oh the dreams I aspire to.

I got a message from my friend Tia yesterday... you might recall she is the one who works at McMurdo Station and met Ann Curry. She is living in Seattle now and is having an open studio tonight. She makes great jewelery that incorporates hand made paper. I'm going to buy me some more... I wore one of her necklaces yesterday and I got many compliments on it. She's a good person who makes good work.

Sunday is my fun-day!

Oh, the Bangles... whatever happened to them?

I got a phone call from my friend Tia yesterday. You may recall she is my friend who works at McMurdo Station and met Ann Curry when she was there. Well, she lives in Seattle now and happened to go into Crawl Space yesterday and found out that I was a member there. I'm so excited that she's here!

She makes the best jewelry... it's sterling silver (?) that is covered in hand made paper. since I am employed now I may have to buy a few more pieces from her.

Things seem to be falling into place.

On the workout front, I am only feeling my cycling class in my butt today... specifically where I sit.... tomorrow I'm sure I will feel differently. Last night I went to see Into the Wild. It's a really good movie... I know I say that about all the movies I've seen lately - but I don't go to see bad movies. At least not yet.

This afternoon I'm watching the gallery... everyone come down and see the show and check out the progress of my thin thigh campaign.

Shaping up...

things are beginning to happen. My friend Tia who works at McMurdo station may be having coffee with Ann Curry tomorrow and she's going to mention that she knows me and mention I heart Ann.

Yay!

Went to lunch today with Chad in Williamsburg. I had some tasty fennel soup and nice warm bread. hmmmm. I'm sorry I don't have any pictures to show for it.

It's cold outside and my hands are starting to dry out... and my nostrils... I suppose I can survive five more weeks considering I'm going to be in Miami for one of them.
