I've gone and done it...
I don't want to talk too much about it but I did something I've been griping about for a while now...
Here is a video that Max and I made last night while he was visiting... I think he's going to be a star someday.
(okay - the video is not uploading correctly so I will try again later)
It's a good thing. Even if nothing comes from it I don't care... at least I've taken a step forward...
I have scheduled myself a pedicure this afternoon so that will be nice... I have a gift card left over from last years birthday... it's been 11 months - why not do it now... maybe tomorrow I'll show some toe cleavage..
I'm still stiff from my fall the other day - I think I may have to make a date with the chiropractor this week. It sucks getting old.
Here are some photos I took on my computer last night as well...
Max getting his teeth brushed....

A thermal image of Max, Leo, and Melissa....

Max, and the claw, with mom and Leo in the background...

Looks like a lot of fun doesn't it???

A good looking dog (that's not mine)...
This is Weezy. She belongs to my friend Diana. She likes to hang out in the gallery every once in a while.
This morning I am going to try something different. I'm going to try to take a shower a bit earlier and then let my hair air dry for a few minutes before I do anything else. It's a new strategy in order to achieve the perfect hair. Okay, semi-perfect hair. At this age I just want to look presentable.
Yesterday I pretty much just slugged around. I did go to the gym (and I smiled at Arms) and then I watched a Hallmark Channel movie... then I watched the Seahawks lose. That was thrilling - not. I did manage to get some birthday shopping done for my nephew Max.
This week is I have the following events to look forward to...
Weight Watchers is starting a new program called Momentum.
Holiday lunch for the office.
Cycling class(es).
Holiday potluck with my ww buddies.
Birthday Party for nephew.
Lip and Brow Waxing.
It looks like it's going to be a full week.

Don't eat snails....
As I arrived in Olympia yesterday Melissa was moping up in the entryway of the house - I asked her if she was cleaning for me but no... Leo threw up and she was cleaning it up... While the clean up was going on they found an undigested snail in the mix.
Mom said Melissa used to eat slugs so it didn't seem like too much of a surprise to her. Just add another tick to the Con side of having kids.
On my visit I also introduced Max to the concept of driving like Lindsay Lohan. He ran his bike off into the flowerbed and I told him he was driving like her. As I got in my car to leave last night he told me not do drive like Linsday (this conversation was five hours later than our initial discussion of her...). I guess that would be a check mark under the Pro side of having kids. Molding young minds.
My earlier meeting for coffee went well - I think. I suppose I don't have too much to go on. I felt like I talked too much. Oh well. And Jason, if you're reading this - Hi.
Today at work I am going to be moved from the file room where I've had a nice desk... I'll probably be put in some dark room with no windows (which would be just like the file room...). I can adapt. The construction on I-5 Starts today as well... they're bringing in pizza for us for lunch. Just what my food plan needs... I suppose I don't have to eat it but hey, free food. Who am I to pass up a free meal. Now only if they included Alaskan Amber with it...
Okay - that's it... better run. Once again I woke up to go to the gym but didn't. I'll go after work. Yeah right... I will REALLY!
