Happy Monday.

Okay, I'm not really happy it's Monday but I'm trying to put on a brave face. I had weird dreams involving running in races, being at some sort of morning show and being snubbed by Lindsay Lohan, trying to buy something from Anne Murray and Wayne Gretsky but finding out that all I have is counterfeit money.

I'd go into details but that's about all I have.

My neck is a bit stiff this morning... that's another thing that sucks about getting on in years. Maybe I overexerted myself yesterday during cycle class. There's a good looking fella who works out about the same time as my class is and I can't help but to stare at his legs while he's working out... I think I ended up working harder yesterday than I normally do because I thought he may be looking at me. I think he's caught me staring at him a few times... It's a good thing I'm not on a real bike or I'd crash into something.

Oh! This just in! There is soon going to be wifi use on airplanes! Now if I can just get a new laptop battery that will keep a charge.

I think I'm ready to go back to bed now.

It's been a long time coming.

I am FINALLY coming to you from my sofa in the living room!

I actually had the patience to look for and follow the instructions to reset the modem and get the extreme base station reset.
Now I can come to you all the time.... I know you are all excited aren't you?

I know I am.

Tonight I stopped by Isaac Layman's opening at Lawrimore Project. It is beautiful. I told Isaac if he wanted to he could give me a piece of his work. I don't think he's going to give me anything - it never hurts to ask though.

Getting back to my wireless capabilities though... now I can post pictures and links to other sites in a more efficient manner - and the best part is it's all from my lap! (well, not my actual lap, my laptop on my lap).

I think things are going to be looking up.

What could be better?

What could be better than a good cup of coffee, a sofa and wifi? Well, I suppose financial security, the love of your life and six pack abs might be better but I don't have those right now so the coffee will have to do.

I am having a serious case of I don't want to go to work ever again... there's got to be more than this.

Camp is coming up and that will be good for me.

I have been put in charge of arranging field trips for the Crawl Space membership... we need to get out and see things but we don't always do it.... I have to figure out where we should go.

Okay - the bright spots in my life today??? Lunch with my lovely assistant Kristen and it's payday tomorrow.

I happened to get on a 522 this morning that is equipped with wifi so I am coming to you live on my way to work.

Right now we are riding along Lake City Way (We're really close to Dick's Drive In Right now).

Hopefully we won't have any abrupt stops so my laptop won't go crashing into the aisle.

I'm sitting in the back and a gentleman just sat next to me (he smells a bit like an ashtray - but that's alright.)

I like the idea of being able to blog on a bus... maybe I should just ride the routes and do postings on public transportation.

I guess that's going to be it for now... since I've got the free wifi I am going to update my iTunes...


(my laptop almost fell off my lap there.... I better go.).

I got the wifi back on so I am feeling a bit better.

There has been painting going on in the downstairs area of where I'm house sitting. They were supposed to be done two weeks ago but didn't actually finish until last night after 11:00 pm. That's not really good customer service if you ask me.... just because the people you're working for aren't around doesn't mean you should slack off.

So.. anyways. I found the modem and turned it back on.

Let me talk about work for a moment here... Every day I remember why I went back to school.... Don't get me wrong. I like the people and I like the paycheck... it just seems that sometimes people just don't get it... I get it because I've been around the block a few times.

Okay, on the agenda this weekend - not much. Cleaning, weighing, cycling, eating, moving back in with my Stinky... it should be good.

I'm thinking of wearing cute shoes today - but they're a bit tall and I might fall over. Oh the trials and tribulations I face...

I kept the cat out of the bedroom again last night - it worked pretty well until 4:34. Dogs rule.

ummmm...

Not much to report today. I am watching Pirate the cat for a few weeks, I have to make artichoke dip for a family get together tomorrow and I have to do laundry.

I know, It sounds like fun doesn't it?

My "free" wifi is gone again. I guess I'll just have to suffer for my art.

Positive things about getting up at 4 am.

Okay, so I can't really think of anything significant at this moment, but I did find out that I DO have "free" wifi from my neighbors (at least for the time being).

Today I get to hang out with my niece Katie. She's a model you know... maybe we'll dress her up and start with some runway lessons. I've watched enough America's Next Top Model to know how to do it.

Yesterday I visited a bunch of my ex co-workers. I've spread the word that I need a job... hopefully something will come up.

I don't think I mentioned it but I did go on the NBC Studio tour my last day in New York...

I am beginning to miss my friends at the today show... I wonder how they're doing.

Now that I have wifi I will try to post more often.

Maybe I'll go to the gym and work on those thighs. Maybe I'll win the lottery.... If I can manage to clean up a little bit today that will be an accomplishment.

The saga is over...

The paycheck... I found out that the paycheck I've been waiting for for over two months was accidentally sent to my Chicago address. I decided to have a stop payment put on the check because the forwarding of my mail has not been the swiftest thing and the Chicago postal workers are not so good... They are going to re-issue my paycheck and send it to me in Seattle.

When I got home last night the paycheck was in the mail. It will be a nice memento... all $223.15. It will probably cost them 50 bucks to put the stop payment on it.

I've been having issues with my wifi (okay, my neighbors wifi...). It's not been very reliable in letting me be able to send email messages. I can receive them, but it's taking so long for them to go over the airwaves they time out. (If I am not good with the technical terms there excuse me...).

Today is going to be fairly uneventful... I should go to the gym, I should clean up my room and start organizing things for my future... I should reproduce. Maybe I'll go see a movie. The world is my oyster.
