I have been pretty tight in my back and hip area since Monday. I think that's what I get for not doing my body sculpt class for a long time.

Well, it's Friday. I'm in a good mood for a few reasons. First, my friend Josh won the Betty Bowen Award yesterday (it's a PNW art award)... it's nice when someone you like wins. Second, I'm going to lunch with people from my old office and Third, it's Friday!

I've managed to find someone to cover my class the Sunday after next so I can take a cycle training class. The training I'm taking is a "hippy granola" class according to one of my friends at the gym... I don't really care. Just as long as I learn something.

This weekend I have a few things I need to chose from. Tomorrow I have been invited to a Birthday Party in Bellingham. I think it would be fun an I will probably go.. but it does conflict with a performance by my friend Jenna called Lullaby Moon it's a groovy performance dance event held in local parks on the evenings of the full moon. Oh yea, there's also Octoberfest (which I have some free drink coupons...) in Fremont.

I am also looking forward to my waxing appointment Tomorrow after the gym...

I think I'm a little more with it today... I was a bit slow yesterday... Okay, I need to go. Happy Friday!

Night Post!

I have decided to once again take the night off from the gym. It was raining when I got home and I've had a busy day.

Tonight I am enjoying a little quality time with Stinky. The baby is at the vet getting her first checkup...

I have a feeling I may be going to bed a bit early tonight. I've been feeling a little run down and I don't want to get sick.

Yay Jordan for winning Big Brother last night and tomorrow night a new season of Survivor is on.

I am going to start working on my new audition dvd... maybe I'll do one for Big Brother too!

A Reminder

Yesterday I was gently reminded that I shouldn't wait until tomorrow to go for what I want when it comes to life.

Taking that into account I am going to be searching local schools and art organizations seeing if anyone is looking for Art teachers... or at least I'm going to submit my information for vacancy pools.

Last night I took Body Scupt and Core classes - now my body hurts.

I'm late - have to go now...

Tonight - Big Brother, Biggest Loser... a dilemma of what to choose...

I really like my job but this morning I really don't want to go to work... I would love to go back to bed and sleep for a while...

I was looking at facebook updates and people I went to grad school with are gearing up for teaching gigs. I really think at some point I should start looking for teaching jobs. It's what I really want to do.... it would be nice to do what I went to school for wouldn't it?

I'm not going to give up my perfect non-art related job though... it's just too nice right now.

I think I'll give myseff the timeframe of two years to find a teaching job...

Yesterday there were only six people in my cycle class... it was really nice out so I don't blame people for not showing up. I also went to my first instructor meeting. It wasn't too traumatic. We just went over policies and procedures and I ate a brownie.

It's dark outside... I really think I should be back in bed.

Tonight my favorite new show Hoarders is on... something to look forward to!

Long day yesterday.

Today I have to teach and then my instructor meeting at 2. I hope the meeting isn't too taxing...

Yesterday I drove down to Olympia for Leo's Birthday party... it was a long drive and a long day.. I did stop by dairy queen in Tacoma on the way home. The peanut buster parfait was a much needed break in a busy day... probably not the best point wise but what the hell!

Last night I watched my niece Katie. She's really good but it can be exhausting.....

I am going to ww and then getting my hair cut.... then it's off to Olympia and then an opening at Crawl Space.

I don't know if I'm going to make it....

I went to the Doctor yesterday to get my elbow checked out ... we're just going to ice it for a while and see if it clears up. It's not too painful...

Have I told you lately how much I like sleeping? I wish I was doing it now....

Puppy out of control!

I have a wiggly dog sitting next to me... she's chasing her tail and trying to bite my hand.

Oh it's hard... Stinky is on the other side of me, burrowed between the end of the sofa and my shoulder she's sort of parrot like.

Today is doughnut (or is that donut) Friday.... hopefully there will be enough people there that I won't eat too many today.

Tonight I have an appointment for my elbow and then I'm watching Katie.

Tomorrow is a busy day - ww, then I'm skipping the gym (OH MY GOD) and then it's hair do time. After the hairdo I am going to Olympia for my nephews birthday party and then back to Seattle for an opening at Crawl Space.

Sunday I have cycle and then I have my first Instructor meeting.

I think I'll go now... I'm driving in today so I can get to my appointment on time...

Day off.

Last night I decided to skip the gym. I wasn't really in the mood to get all sweaty. Instead, I decided to go to the mall. Leo is having his 4th birthday party on Saturday and I went shopping for my momma.

I've been in a weird mood this week... not exactly in the mood to work this week... oh well, only two days left and then it's the weekend.

Last night I did have a dream about Arms. He was waiting at a bus stop with me.. it was the bus stop over by key bank at Northgate (the mall I was at last night.).

Stinky is sitting on my lap right now. She was being traumatized by Zoe early this morning and she needed a lap.

Last night I guess the puppies went to sleep without any whining. Maybe things will be better in the coming days...

Last night I was getting ready for cycle class when I picked up the sign up sheet. Who should be signed up but Mr. Arms...

There he was right there in front of me the entire time. I was a bit too tired to stare at him... I think he has lost the allure that he once had. The more I hear him talk the less appealing he is... okay, he's still a good looking fella and I'm not going to stop staring at him anytime soon... We did share some witty banter and he told me that class was good.

Last night I had to sit with the dogs until they went to sleep. I stayed up with them in the kitchen and pretended like I was reading in the dark... they can't tell that I can't see anything ...

Today I have work and then off to the gym. It was really busy at the office yesterday hopefully it won't be too bad today... one of the attorneys had been in Europe on vacation - he brought chocolate from France to work yesterday... it was really good.

Okay I think that's about it for now... if anything exciting happens I'll be sure to let you know.

Tuesday that feels like Monday.

So... this weekend was a bust (sort of)... I did manage to go to the studio and the gym yesterday. I also managed to fall asleep on the sofa before 9pm. I had to go to bed because I couldn't stay awake. My tummy was feeling a bit rumbly too. I am a bit sad becasue I missed the new episode of hoarders.

The good news about today is that my friend Shirley finally has a job. She starts this morning at a CPA firm in Olympia. It's also payday at the gym. I'm thinking I'll take that money and put it towards my trip to Pasadena (cycle training)...

The weather sucks today - I may have to break out a pair of tights to wear (or heaven forbid a pair of pants!)...

Okay, here's a rant.... what's the big deal about the President wanting to address school children.. aren't there more important things to worry about in this world??? What sort of Socialist agenda could he be spreading??? People??? what's wrong with you?

Okay, I better go... I'm not sure I'm ready for the day...

Semi unproductive weekend...

I feel like I haven't done anything this weekend. I've slept, eaten and played with the new dog.

This morning I am going to brunch with my father and then I think I'll go to the gym and then possibly the studio. I think I should work on some art at some point this year...

The weather has really sucked so I think going to the studio is a good idea. What should I work on??? The good thing about my new phone is that I can go to the studio and still be in contact via email.

I think I need to snuggle with my Stinky. She's been a very patient dog this weekend...

We have settled on the name Zoe for the puppy.

Last night I got a little more sleep... I went to bed at 8:30 because I was so stinking tired... I also took a 2 hour nap yesterday afternoon.

I didn't do much more than that.

Today the rest of the family is coming over for ribs (yummy).

I have to do a bit of cleaning before they arrive...

It's been a long night.

We weren't sure if the new baby barked or not. She does...

Last night she just wanted to hang out with Stinky and she would have nothing to do with her... they both fussed and barked most of the night...

Pasadena anyone?

I've been mulling over the idea of going to Pasadena for a weekend in November to do my spinning class training. I am trying to convince my oldest sister to go along with me (she used to live in that area)... I think it might be fun.

Tonight the new puppy comes to stay. I'll be sure to post pictures as soon as I can. I'm not looking forward to the house training. She's about 9 weeks old so maybe it won't be too bad. I'll have to look up online and see what the time frame is for housebreaking.

Last night we took Stinky for a walk. It was pretty funny... she actually used a leash which is not something that she usually does. I took some video on my new phone. Maybe I can figure out how to get it on to my laptop and we'll be ready to go.

Cyber dude called last night. Still no awkward pauses...

This weekend I don't have much going on... the family is coming over for ribs and to meet the dog on Sunday... I may call my daddy and see if he wants to go to brunch tomorrow or Monday.

Only 10 and a half hours until the three day weekend!

The only bad thing...

The only bad thing that is happening in my life right now is that my tendonitis in my elbow is coming back. It doesn't hurt like it did before but it still feels pretty weak. I can't get anymore cortisone shots so I'll have to have therapy.

Boo!

Did I mention that I'm going to take over the Sunday cycling class? I think I did but I'm pretty tired these days and I don't actually remember what I've told you all.

It's raining outside. I think I'll have to dig up some warmer clothes to wear...

I think this is turning into a rambling post this morning....

I've been thinking (back to the cycling stuff)... I was supposed to take my certification class on November 14th in Bellingham but I have a conflict. I was thinking maybe I could do a training in California and make it a weekend getaway. That might be fun. There's one in Pasadena and a few in Santa Barbara... maybe I can get one of my sisters to go with me...

Okay, I think I better go now...

Okay, they might be better if I didn't have any student loans but hey... that's alright.

Yesterday I went to Verizon and got my self a new phone... it's a blackberry and I can send and receive email and browse web pages...

I got an email asking if I would participate in SAIC days again this year... making money to talk about grad school is a good thing...

My phone call went well... no awkward pauses...

Puppy comes on Friday...

I'm being taken out to lunch by one of my bosses today and yesterday I was told that one of the legal assistant (secretary) really loves me.

It's nice to be loved.

Realistically things are going great. Contentment feels good.

Stinky, meet your new sister...

My mother called me yesterday to tell me that she's going to Fife on Friday to pick up a new puppy for Stinky to play with. She is currently being called Butter but I like the name Stella. I guess we'll have to wait until she arrives before we give her a name.

What else??? that seems like good enough news to me...

Oh, I also got a message yesterday saying that the person I've been alternating teaching with every other Sunday with doesn't want to do it anymore so the class is all mine... I said I didn't want to teach this Sunday (it's a long weekend) but I would do it after that.

At least I'll be making more money... I've decided to put my cycle money into Savings to build it back up again... it got depleted over the past few months... I think I'll work on curbing my spending... maybe start shaving again... hmmmm... I don't know about that...

Okay, tonights the night... life is looking pretty good.
